Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crest Ridge). Everything went their way against the Midway Vikings on Wednesday as they made off with a 25-10 win. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Crest Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Midway, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crest Ridge will face off against Stover at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midway, they will square off against Archie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Whirlwinds have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season.
