The George Walton Academy Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as George Walton Academy comes in on nine and Bethlehem Christian Academy on six.
On Friday, George Walton Academy humbled Riverside Military Academy with a 43-13 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won eight matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead George Walton Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zack Wolf, who rushed for 107 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries. Caleb Post got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
George Walton Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Roland Crutchfield, Post, and Kaleb Raines, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem Christian Academy earned a 17-7 victory over Piedmont Academy on Friday.
Bethlehem Christian Academy's win came from a few key players George Walton Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sian John, who picked up 123 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one rushing score. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 receiving yards. Adian Grady was another key back, rushing for 136 yards.
George Walton Academy's record now sits at 9-0. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, their record is now 7-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. George Walton Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 202.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bethlehem Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 176.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
George Walton Academy and Bethlehem Christian Academy were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but George Walton Academy suffered an agonizing 15-14 loss.
