Baseball Recap: Cambridge Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Cambridge ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the New Glarus Glarner Knights. This was payback for the Bluejays, who suffered a 4-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cambridge's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for New Glarus, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-5 record.
