Baseball Recap: Joliet Central Comes Up Short

Joliet Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss. They lost 16-3 to the Romeoville Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-0 loss last Tuesday.

Joliet Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-28. As for Romeoville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Joliet Central is set to take on their familiar foe Plainfield South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Romeoville will challenge rival Plainfield East at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
