Volleyball Game Preview: Vacaville Christian Falcons vs. Encina Bulldogs

The Vacaville Christian Falcons will challenge the Encina Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Vacaville Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against River Islands by a score of 3-1.

Vacaville Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-21, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Encina got the win against Wheatland on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Encina was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.

Vacaville Christian's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-5. As for Encina, their win bumped their record up to 25-10.

Vacaville Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Encina when the teams last played back in March of 2022, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
