Whitehall came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Ludington Orioles. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-4 victory back in April.

Nate Betz was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.

Whitehall pushed their record up to 16-15 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ludington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
