Peaster came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Eastland Mavericks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7, 25-19.

Kyler Shirley was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two assists.

Peaster was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Peaster's record now sits at 28-12-1. As for Eastland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Peaster is set to challenge their familiar foe Early at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Eastland will square off against rival Comanche at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
