Softball Recap: South Shore Takes a Loss

South Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the Hurley Northstars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northstars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

South Shore's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hurley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hurley beat South Shore by a score of 16-1 later that day.
