Basketball Recap: Geronimo's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

It was a good run, but Geronimo unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. The game between them and the Amber-Pocasset Panthers didn't end well, with the Geronimo Blue Jays falling 56-37. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Panthers are ranked 34th).

Geronimo's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Amber-Pocasset, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Geronimo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Amber-Pocasset has already played their next match (against Hinton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
