Basketball Recap: Archer City Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Archer City faced off against Seymour on Tuesday. The Archer City Wildcats had to suffer through a 59-22 loss at the hands of the Seymour Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Addy Peters was Archer City's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Serenity Jones held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Millie Mayo took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Archer City's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Archer City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-27 loss against Knox City on the 19th. As for Seymour, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 66-23 win against Electra on the 20th.
