Softball Recap: Hanover Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Hanover finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the Patrick Henry Patriots by a score of 1-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Hanover's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Patrick Henry, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hanover will venture away from home to face off against Midlothian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patrick Henry, they will head out to take on Varina at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
