Softball Recap: Eula Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eula). They were the clear victor by a 19-2 margin over the Santa Anna Mountaineers on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2021.

Eula's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Santa Anna, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eula will square off against Trent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Santa Anna, they will head out on the road to face off against Cross Plains at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Santa Anna is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.
