After a string of five wins, Gulf Shores's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and the Wakulla War Eagles finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Dolphins have been dealt a draw since back in January of 1901.

Anna Leigh Price spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Gulf Shores' draw makes their record 23-13-2 this season. Meanwhile, Wakulla's record is now 14-3-1.

Gulf Shores didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-5 victory against Chattanooga Christian on the 18th. As for Wakulla, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 win against Thomasville on the 18th.
