Volleyball Recap: Agape Christian Knights vs. Elverado Falcons
It was a good run, but Agape Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Elverado Falcons. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Agape Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Elverado work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 27-25.

Agape Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Elverado, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Agape Christian will take on Cobden at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Cobden has won five straight at home, while Agape Christian won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Elverado, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Shawnee at 6:00 p.m.
