Basketball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester and Highland Springs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Manchester had to settle for second. They took a hard 68-52 fall against the Highland Springs Springers. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Springers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Highland Springs, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Highland Springs, they will face off against Oscar Smith on Thursday. One thing working in Oscar Smith's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
