Basketball Recap: Chandler Park Academy Comes Up Short

Chandler Park Academy's last matchup with Regina could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Chandler Park Academy Eagles took a blow against Regina, falling 68-22. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 521st, while Regina are ranked 98th).

Chandler Park Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13. As for Regina, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

Chandler Park Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Regina, they will head out to face off against South Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Regina knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully South Lake likes a good challenge.
