Baseball Game Preview: Silver Stage Nighthawks vs. Yerington Lions

Silver Stage hasn't had much luck against Yerington recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Nighthawks will host the Lions at 4:00 p.m. Silver Stage has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Silver Stage is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They came up short against West Wendover, falling 19-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Landen Wolf was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Yerington played against Incline on Saturday and won via forfeit.

Yerington pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Silver Stage, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
