Baseball Game Preview: Wabash Apaches vs. Eastern Comets

The Wabash Apaches will challenge the Eastern Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Wabash is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Oak Hill. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Apaches.

Samuel Harris was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Meanwhile, Eastern had just enough and edged out Rochester 6-5 on Saturday.

Wabash's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 20-11.

Wabash came up short against Eastern in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Apaches avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
