Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tomahawk). They blew past the Northland Pines Eagles 29-11 on Tuesday. The Hatchets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Camryn Kraklow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and eight unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 13 Ks.

On the hitting side, Tomahawk got a massive performance out of Anita Ziert, who got on base in six of her seven plate appearances with four stolen bases, six runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave Ziert a new career-high. Averi Petta was another key player, getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances with six runs, two triples, and two RBI.

Tomahawk hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northland Pines struck out 13 times.

Tomahawk's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Northland Pines, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
