Basketball Recap: Lathrop Takes a Loss

Lathrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the North Platte Panthers 74-43. The Mules were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for North Platte, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lathrop and North Platte will both be playing Braymer the next time they take the court. North Platte will host Braymer at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Lathrop will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
