Football Game Preview: A-D-M Tigers vs. Denison-Schleswig Monarchs

The A-D-M Tigers will square off against the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. A-D-M knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Denison-Schleswig likes a good challenge.

A-D-M will bounce into Friday's game after beating Lewis Central, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Tigers skirted past the Titans 31-28. Give the Tigers' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denison-Schleswig). They took down Boone 35-21 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Monarchs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Denison-Schleswig's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for A-D-M, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for A-D-M against Denison-Schleswig in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 42-0 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
