Volleyball Recap: Hazelwood West Takes a Loss

Hazelwood West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Clayton Greyhounds. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-1 defeat back in April.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Greenspan Gachie paced Hazelwood West's offense, picking up five kills. Gachie got some help from Armond Dobbins and his 14 assists. Austin Cramer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hazelwood West's loss dropped their record down to 5-19-2. As for Clayton, their win bumped their record up to 9-11-1.

As of now, neither Hazelwood West nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
