Football Recap: Ameer Williams and Isaiah Medrano Lead the Defense for Del Sol Win + How To Watch

Del Sol's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars 18-16. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dragons have posted since October 10, 2024.

Ameer Williams was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Del Sol is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

Del Sol didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Williams and Isaiah Medrano.

The victory got Del Sol back to even at 3-3. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
