Softball Recap: Natalia Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Natalia waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over the Mason Punchers.

Arabella Gallegos made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Gallegos was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Yahdi Lujan was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aryanna Ramirez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Natalia kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Natalia now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mason, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Natalia will be taking part in a tournament against Blanco at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mason, they will take on Richland Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
