Casa Grande put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the ALA - Queen Creek Patriots 28-0. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Patriots are ranked 112th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sarah Mountz produced another solid performance throwing for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Casa Grande didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Kayla Tacker picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Casa Grande's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Casa Grande will venture away from home to face off against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Tempe at 6:00 p.m. The Patriots will be up against the Buffaloes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
