While Cleburne County's win against White Plains wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers skirted past the Wildcats 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 last Tuesday.

Asher Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits.

On the hitting side, Cleburne County's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Wilson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Cleburne County and bumps their season record up to 13-8. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for White Plains, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.

Cleburne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White Plains, they will head out to face off against Westbrook Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
