Soccer Recap: Clear Creek Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Clear Creek Golddiggers didn't have quite enough to beat the Nederland Panthers and fell 2-1. The Golddiggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Hannah Royer, which was the first she's scored this season.

Clear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Clear Creek will challenge Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nederland, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 7-1 win against Union Colony Prep on the 10th.
