Baseball Recap: Father Judge Crusaders vs. Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls

Father Judge had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls on Wednesday. The victory was just what Father Judge needed coming off of a 9-2 loss in their prior game.

Kaiden Laverty looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks every time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Richie Lee was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kevin Krause, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

On Archbishop Ryan's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Marchesano, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Kenny Torres was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
