Soccer Game Preview: Surry County vs. Galileo

The Surry County Cougars will challenge the Galileo Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Surry County and four for Galileo.

Surry County managed to slip by Windsor the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Dukes on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Javion Mason was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Meanwhile, Galileo fell victim to Rappahannock County and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to Rappahannock County.

Surry County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Galileo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1.
