After a string of 18 wins, Pinedale's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a blow against the Cody Broncs, falling 57-25. The game marked the Wranglers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Pinedale lost, don't look at Elyn Bowers. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points. That was a full 44% of Pinedale's points, marking the 14th time in a row Bowers has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Pinedale's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 22-2. As for Cody, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
