Basketball Game Preview: Taylor Ducks vs. Salado Eagles

Taylor hasn't had much luck against Salado recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Taylor Ducks will face off against the Salado Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Taylor took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Marble Falls with points to spare, taking the game 43-26.

Meanwhile, Salado blew past Lampasas, posting a 63-31 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Badgers are ranked 850th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Taylor's record now sits at 12-18. As for Salado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-14.

Taylor was able to grind out a solid victory over Salado in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taylor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
