The Tornadoes will head out on the road to face off against the Cubs at 12:00 p.m. One thing working in Lamesa's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brownfield's offense. They came up short against Coahoma on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cubs in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Lamesa's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Brownfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.

Everything went Lamesa's way against Brownfield in their previous matchup back in March, as Lamesa made off with a 19-9 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tornadoes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
