Football Game Preview: Casa Roble Rams vs. Dixon Rams + Official Tickets

Casa Roble will head out on the road to face off against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Casa Roble knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Dixon likes a good challenge.

Casa Roble is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Natomas, posting a 57-6 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-0.

Aidan Lopez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Felix Rodriguez made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Casa Roble's defense and their six sacks. Landon Wolverton refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Eric Eaton got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Dixon came up short against Woodland on Friday and fell 36-29. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Casa Roble pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Dixon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Casa Roble took their win against Dixon when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 44-20 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Casa Roble since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
