Softball Recap: Mother Seton Comes Up Short

Mother Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Wardlaw Hartridge Rams, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Setters were not able to get on the board.

Mother Seton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Wardlaw Hartridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mother Seton will welcome Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Owls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.13 runs per game on average), something the Setters will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wardlaw Hartridge, they will challenge Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
