Recap: Chaparral Lobos vs. Irvin Rockets
The Chaparral Lobos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Irvin 75-23 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Chaparral has managed all season.
Chaparral got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Arianna Molina out in front who scored 17 points along with seven assists and five steals. That's the first time this season that Molina scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Dominquez, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
The win (which was Chaparral's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Irvin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Chaparral does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Irvin also has no future games currently scheduled.
