Volleyball Recap: Cartersville Gets the Win

Cartersville saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Starr's Mill Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

Their offense was headlined by Holly Dufrene and Jada Zimmerman, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Aubree Barrett and Emma Wall, who contributed six assists each. Barrett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cartersville's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Cartersville will face off against South Forsyth at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Starr's Mill has already played their next game (against Cherokee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
