It was a good run, but Whitehall unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montague Wildcats. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 8-30. As for Montague, their victory bumped their record up to 14-27-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Whitehall will challenge Big Rapids at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montague, they will take on Lake City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
