Volleyball Game Preview: Upper Lake Cougars vs. Kelseyville Knights

Upper Lake is 1-9 against Kelseyville since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Upper Lake came up short against Cloverdale and fell 3-1.

Upper Lake started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Kelseyville made easy work of St. Helena on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Kelseyville took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-12.

Upper Lake's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Kelseyville, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
