Lily Lappe put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in April on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out five batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
