Basketball Recap: New Dorp's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

New Dorp won the last time they faced Eagle Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The New Dorp Central Cougars snuck past Eagle Academy with a 62-57 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Central Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

New Dorp's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Eagle Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Dorp will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Petrides at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Eagle Academy, they will welcome Varsity Opponent at 1:00 p.m. on January 25th.
