Baseball Game Preview: Merrillville Pirates vs. Michigan City Wolves

The Merrillville Pirates will face off against the Michigan City Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Merrillville and four for Michigan City.

On Thursday, Merrillville came up short against Munster and fell 12-9.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Michigan City's offense. They lost 12-0 to South Central on Monday.

Michigan City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keegan Cowgill, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Cowgill's first of the season.

Merrillville's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Michigan City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
