Softball Recap: Narragansett Regional's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Narragansett Regional strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Lunenburg Blue Knights by a score of 8-5. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Knights, too.

Mya Mckay was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Paridis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Narragansett Regional was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lunenburg only posted a batting average of .286.

Narragansett Regional pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lunenburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Narragansett Regional will challenge West Boylston at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lunenburg, they will face off against Quabbin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
