Softball Recap: Moon Area Takes a Loss

Moon Area fell victim to West Allegheny and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.

Moon Area now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Allegheny, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moon Area will venture away from home to face off against New Castle at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Allegheny, they will head out to square off against Montour at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
