Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Comes Up Short

Piedmont lost against Bishop McGuinness on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Irish.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bishop McGuinness, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Coming up, Piedmont will head out on the road to face off against Westmoore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop McGuinness, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Casady on the 23rd.
