Northern Lakes recap October 8, 2013
Maumee's Jordan Spellis recorded the longest rushing play in Northern Lakes this season in his game against Napoleon last week. Spellis' team fell to the Wildcats as he sprinted for 59 yards on the play and finished with 61 in all.
Anthony Wayne was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in the league. The Generals beat Bowling Green 37-12 earlier in the week.
Napoleon's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Blake Dunbar threw for 152 and 3 touchdowns and Zach Fielder had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Bryant Schlade chipped in 160 yards. Anson Lankenau helped Napoleon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 66 yards.

The Yellowjackets and Southview played the most contested game in the league this week, with the Yellowjackets eventually emerging with a 16-13 victory. Dimmerling threw for 93 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 88 yards in the win.
