Softball Recap: Saks Comes Up Short

Saks and Weaver squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Saks had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 10-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-7 defeat two weeks ago.

Saks saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caylee Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Saks has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Weaver, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.

As of now, neither Saks nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
