The Burroughs Burros won the last time they faced the Serrano Diamondbacks, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Burroughs managed a 52-48 victory over Serrano. The win made it back-to-back wins for Burroughs.
Burroughs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cory Kent, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eduardo Perez, who scored eight points along with six steals.
Burroughs' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Serrano, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
Burroughs will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. Sultana is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. Serrano on the road again on Friday and play against Hesperia at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. One thing working in Hesperia's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
