King George has gone 8-2 against Spotsylvania recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Foxes will challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. King George will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

On Thursday, King George needed a bit of extra time to put away Caroline. They had just enough and edged out the Cavaliers 8-7. That's two games straight that the Foxes have won by just one run.

Kelsea Minter was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Kallie Slovack was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Summer Stowers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Spotsylvania has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.31 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Mountain View. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

King George pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Spotsylvania, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

King George beat Spotsylvania 7-2 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Foxes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
