Volleyball Recap: Springboro's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Springboro had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Fairmont Firebirds as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory back in August.

The win didn't come easy: Fairmont scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Springboro's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Fairmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springboro will challenge Mercy McAuley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairmont, they will venture away from home to take on Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
