Basketball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Comes Up Short

Woodcrest Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roadrunners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Woodcrest Christian still got an impressive performance from Noah Milton, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Riley Downs, who posted ten points along with five boards and three steals.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Loma Linda Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

Woodcrest Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loma Linda Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-30 win against Mesa Grande Academy on the 5th.
